Republican lawmakers push AG Pam Bondi to release Epstein client list, JFK assassination files

A string of Congressional Republicans on Monday night called for Attorney General Pam Bondi to release the classified documents pertaining to President John F. Kennedy’s assassination and the client list of Jeffrey Epstein.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order last month that declassifies records related to the assassinations of JFK, Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr.

The order directed the Justice Department to coordinate with the Intelligence community, including Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, to establish a plan for the release of the JFK files by Feb. 7, which has now passed.

“On Feb 11 & Feb 19, house oversight sent a letter to the DOJ asking for status on releasing the Epstein files as well as JFK etc. The DOJ has not responded,” Florida GOP Rep. Anna Paulina Luna posted on X on Monday. “Reaching out on X because we can’t seem to get a response from the AG. [Bondi] what is the status of the documents? These documents were ordered to be declassified.”

Luna has been selected to lead a new Congressional task force that will reportedly be looking into not only the assassinations, but also into files related to the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and Epstein’s client list.

The congresswoman also sent a letter to Gabbard, National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, and White House Counsel David Warrington requesting a briefing by Thursday on plans for the release of the documents, per Fox News.

GOP Sens. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee and Mike Lee of Utah also pushed the administration to release the files.

“For years, my efforts to crack the Epstein trafficking ring wide open have been stonewalled by Democrats at every turn,” Blackburn wrote in a Monday post on X. “This will change under FBI Director Kash Patel. I just sent him a letter asking for the complete & unredacted Epstein files. The time for transparency is now.”

The call comes ahead of the task force’s first hearing next month, which is scheduled to take place on March 26.
