First Premier League match, first Premier League goal for Hugo Ekitike! He scored in the Community Shield and has continued that fine form today. It was a little fortuitous, though.

He picked the ball up deep, and dropped it off to midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, who chipped it back into his path.

Ekitike then poked it forward when faced up by Marcos Senesi and was a little lucky that the ball span off his opponent, off his leg and past Senesi into the penalty area.

From there, he burst onto it, with loads of time and space, and faced up the goalkeeper Petrovic one-on-one.

He gave Petrovic the eyes and slid it into the net. Just passed it in!
