On Sunday, Metchie was traded, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, moving from the Houston Texans to the Philadelphia Eagles.

A second round pick in the 2022 NFL draft, Metchie has appeared in a combined 29 games during his professional career, three of which he has started. All coming with Houston, Metchie has hauled in 40 receptions for 412 yards and a touchdown.
Last season, Metchie started 3-of-13 games for the Texans, hauling in a career-high 24 receptions for 254 yards and a touchdown.
