Fortnite Down: Can’t Login and More Confirmed by Epic Games • iPhone in Canada Blog

Fortnite players are still running into problems logging in and joining games, despite a statement from the company overnight claiming the issue was resolved.

At 8:42 p.m. PDT on Friday, Fortnite said it was working to fix a problem where players were unable to matchmake or select game modes in the lobby.

By 11:06 p.m., Fortnite posted an update saying the issue was ongoing and that the OCE Div Cup Final would be postponed. A new date for that event will be announced later.

At 1:38 a.m. early Saturday, the company said the issue had been fixed and thanked players for their patience. “We’ll continue to monitor Fortnite services to ensure everything remains stable,” the post read.

However, players on platforms including Xbox and PS5 reported that the same problems continued Saturday morning. Yes, we can also confirm this.

As of 5:50 a.m. PDT, Fortnite’s official status page confirmed the issue was not fully resolved:

“We are aware of an issue where players cannot log in, matchmake, or select a game in the Discover Lobby. We are actively investigating it and will update this thread once we have more info.”

No further update has been posted yet. Are you dealing with Fortnite not working right now? Kids (and adults) trying to game on Saturday morning are pretty frustrated right now. Maybe it’s time to go outside…(“and touch grass”).
