最優秀新人賞を獲得したのは、社会人も経験した苦労人・こっちのけんとだった。名前が呼ばれた瞬間、喜びをかみ締めながら、涙ぐみ一礼。「頑張った１年間。これ以上にないご褒美をいただきました。とてつもなくうれしいです。僕がひよっこの時から応援していたファンには夢のようだと思います。でも、僕もそれ以上に夢のようです」と声を震わせた。 今年２月に結婚を発表。新人賞に選ばれた時は、夫人と一緒にいたという。「（その時は）一緒に腕を組んでやったねと喜んだ。今日はテレビの向こうにいるので。ありがとう！ いただきました！ ありがとうね、いつも。なんか恥ずかしいな…」と照れ笑い。司会の安住紳一郎アナ（５１）から、「喜びを込めてパフォーマンスしてもらえますか？」と尋ねられると、「はい、よろこんで！」と満面の笑みでマイクを握った。 ２０２０年に会社員を辞めて「マルチクリエイター」に転身し、配信活動を始めた。ＮＨＫ紅白歌合戦でも披露する「はいよろこんで」は、今年５月に配信した６曲目の楽曲。会社員時代の実体験や、生きづらさに悩んだことを歌詞に練り込んだ一方、アップテンポな曲調は多くの共感を呼び、ＳＮＳの総再生回数は１５０億回を超える大ヒットを記録した。 新語・流行語大賞にもノミネートされ、今年を代表する曲になったことに、けんとは「人生が変わったというか、人生が定まったような年になりました」。怒涛（どとう）の一年を笑顔で振り返った。（増田 寛） ◆こっちのけんと 本名・菅生健人（すごう・けんと）。１９９６年６月１３日、大阪府生まれ。２８歳。大学在学中にアマチュアアカペラ全国大会で２連覇。卒業後の２０１９年から１年間、コンサルティング会社に勤務。２２年８月、「Ｔｉｎｙ」でデビュー。アーティスト名は、会社員として着飾った自分を「あっちのけんと」、帰宅後の自分を「こっちのけんと」と呼んでいたことに由来。
