Popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat hosting ‘Streamer University’ at University of Akron

Popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat hosted his Streamer University event at the University of Akron, Cenat confirmed during his first live stream welcoming his “students.”

Streamer University allows content creators to gather at a college campus and have the opportunity to showcase their personalities and brand and meet other creators.

In a live stream, Cenat said it was open for everyone to apply, and he reviewed online applications on his YouTube channel.

He revealed the full Class of 2025 on his social media platforms five days ago. He selected 120 content creators to participate.

According to Rolling Stone, Cenat, a 23-year-old Twitch and YouTube star captured a massive audience with his gaming, pranks and high-energy persona. He was named Rolling Stone‘s 20 most influential creators of 2023.

Cenat has 17.3 million Twitch followers (he’s the most-subscribed user on the platform), 12.7 million subscribers on YouTube and is followed by 14.4 million people on Instagram.

Twitch is a platform for live video streaming that offers a variety of topics from cooking, music, Q&A sessions and video games.
